Honorary Member shall be a person of outstanding professional distinction in the fields of Fire Fighting or Fire Engineering. He shall be, ordinary, not less than 55 years of age and has made a worthwhile contribution, in the opinion of the Council, in furtherance of the Aims and Objects of the Institution. He shall be enrolled only on an invitation by the Council of the Institution. Such enrolments shall not exceed two per year.
