The Council shall have the power, on application to the Council in the prescribed form, to transfer into the class of Fellow a Member who, to the satisfaction of the Council, possesses the following qualifications:-
(a) at least 45 years of age.
(b) Is a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (India) or (U.K.) of five years standing.
(c) Has been actively engaged in the fire services or field of fire engineering for at least five years.
(d) Has held senior supervisory position in a Fire Service Organisation for at least 3 years.
or
Has proved his competence in the field of Fire Engineering and made a worthwhile contribution in furtherance of the Aims and Objects of the Institution.
All founder Members shall automatically become the Fellows of the Institution.
