IIT- JEE

Introduced jointly by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE), New Delhi this national level common entrance exam which stands for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted annually. Aspirants who clear this exam are able to find admission at the best engineering colleges in India. The exam is conducted in two phases that is JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

NEET UG

Formerly known as the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), is the qualifying test for MBBS and BDS programmes in Indian medical and dental colleges. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).  Aspirants who seek to pursue a course in medicine with a schooling background in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology as their compulsory subjects in Class 10th and 12th can apply for this exam.

Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT)

Conducted by National Law Universities (NLU's), the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India Entrance for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). The responsibility of conducting the exam is rotated among NLU's and given on the basis of seniority in the establishment. Aspirants who clear the exam become eleigible to find a seat in one of the 22 National Law Universities around the country.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)

For aspirants seeking admission in Master’s in Engineering and Science and Recruitment by some Public Sector Companies, the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and six other Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India are organising the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022. The exam primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of aspirants in various undergraduate subjects.

National Defence Academy (NDA)

Conducted twice a year: NDA I and NDA II by UPSC for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam is an entryway for candidates looking forward to joining Defence Forces. The exam has two stages. In the first stage candidates sit for a written exam following which they qualify for the personality test or interview conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB).

UGC NET

Taken over from December 2018 onwards, by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the direction of the University Grants Commission (UGC), National Eligibility Test or NET which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian universities and colleges. The exam is organised twice a year.

IFENAT- Institution of Fire Engineers National Aptitude Test

IFENAT, that is, Institution of Fire Engineers National Aptitude Test is the latest addition to this list. This up-and-coming entrance test is organised by IFE (India) or the Institution of Fire Engineers (India). The test is organised for 4 Undergraduate courses for deserving candidates who seek a future as trained firefighters. The test is conducted annually to find the select few who hold the calibre to be employed as skilled fire safety personnel.

The first stage includes an Aptitude test which is set to be held on August 15, 2022.
